March Madness

To be honest, March was kind of a blur, not much happened.  It was basically a month of checking the weather report every day hoping to see the temperature rise a bit.  So, so cold.  So it was a great day when it was actually warm enough to go to the park for a little bit one day.

The kids took swim lessons on Saturdays throughout the month.  They loved them, and I'm so glad we put them in.

I always swore I wouldn't babysit regularly.  Honestly, it's probably that I'm just too selfish with my time.  I don't mind watching friends kids once in a while at all, I just had no desire to be a "babysitter".  Well, a girl in my ward had a regular babysitting gig, but she moved out of state so she asked if I would be interested.  At first I thought no, but she explained it's only a few days a week, and the $.  I thought about it and realized it would be stupid to say no before actually trying it out.  He really is a sweet little boy, and he isn't too hard.  It's a good way to make a little extra spending money, and it's paying for our Christmas too.  In reality it has been an answer to prayers to ease a little stress.  But it does add a little bit of stress at times, of course.  Adding a year and a half little boy will do that, but overall it has been a good experience.  (I was going to put his picture on, but wasn't sure how his parents would feel about that.  He is a cutie though.)

One more picture of my cute kids playing outside in our backyard while the older 2 were at school.  We enjoyed the warmth until we got another snow storm the last day of March.  Seriously, the longest winter.
