February Fun Times

Super Bowl
We had our annual Super Bowl feast.  To be completely honest, Jerry, and sometimes Hayden are really the only ones that watch the game.  The rest of us just join along for the food.

School Events
All of the 1st grade classes hosted a Multicultural Evening.  We went to an evening performance and then there were foods to sample from all different cultures after the performance.  It was fun seeing her.

Hayden did a research project on Thomas Edison.  They had to dress up as their "historical person" and present as if they were them. He did awesome.

Snow Days
Snow, snow, and more snow!!  I was hoping that once February came the weather would start to improve.  NOPE.  We had so many snow days in the month of February.  It was so cold.  I was ready to go to bed and wake up in April.  Because of the snow days it extended our school year until almost the end of June.  Not fun.

 Valentine's Day

Valentine's was super fun.  We decorated the table and gave each of the kids a valentines love letter.  I was going to order Jerry a cookie bouquet till I saw what the shipping costs alone were.  So I decided to make my own cookie bouquet for him.  Here are my "naughy" cookies.

This kid is just crazy, that's all there is to it.

And these girls are just silly.

And this boy is a Lego Maniac.  He's constantly making awesome creations.

Hayden loves scouts.
