prayers and patience
For the longest time I have been praying for more patience in dealing with Rebecca's 2 year old behavior/tantrums/talking back/ attitude. But it hit me. If I pray for patience - I'll be given situations to develop that patience. So now, I'm changing my prayers. I'm just praying that she'll stop behaving badly. There we go. I'm fine without learning patience:)

I feel the SAME way! I need to change direction.
Someone told me a long time ago never to pray for patience and I took that advice to heart. Hopefully your new stragedy will work better!
Too funny, and yet words to live by! In church about a year ago, Joseph made a compliment about how we should pray to learn to be humble. Apparently, we needed to learn a big lesson. Never pray to be humble.
If I remember correctly three's were way worse than two's, sorry that probably didn't make you feel any better huh?! Hang in there!
that could win blog post of the year...so funny! hope the new trick works! keep us posted.
I've been praying for patience with Grace, thanks for letting me in on the secret before I let it get too far ;)
And you wonder where you kids get their clever thinking from...after reading this and the TMI entry. I'm thinking he takes after you. :o)
