Speaking with an accent

If you haven't really listened to Rebecca talk you've missed out on her cute accent. I don't know where it came from, but she sounds like she has a bit of a Bostonian (is that a word?) accent. Here's a little example that will fill you in on her cute speech. As we were driving in the car the other day she was having fun finding rhyming words. Then she said, "Hey mom, John rhymes with Barn!" I bet Sara thinks that's funny that her daddy's* name rhymes with barn. (She is talking about my brother John and his wife Sara- *she's worked it out in her mind that the dad of the home is the wife's daddy too.)
So, yes, she does say John correctly, and the way she says "barn" rhymes with "John." Try it out, and you'll know why I try to get her to talk about "cars" and "parties"a lot. It is so cute to me, and when she outgrows it I'll miss my little Boston girl. (Or is it more of a Brooklyn accent?)
