The Truth Hurts
So, I am not a big fan of cleaning. I LOVE organizing - to a fault. It takes forever, and I go WAY overboard. Jerry hates it when I start organizing closets because that is when I find old letters or journals and I get lost forever reading while I'm organizing. OK, back to cleaning. I think I don't like cleaning because I do it every day, and the next morning you can't tell that I did anything. Our house feels so small too, that even if it is spotless, once a couple toys come out it seems messy and cluttered again. Our house is comfortable and lived in. So, anyway there is the background you need to know. Today I was gone all morning to my 1st Dr. appointment, (which was great by the way. So cool to hear the baby's heartbeat - more about that in another post though.) and visiting. I got back just in time to get the kids lunch before my tutoring student came. He is a sweet, honest boy. He will be turning 7 next month, and he likes to tell me how his house is much bigger than ours, and they have more tvs than we do. I'm also wondering if his 14 year old brother knows that he is using his cologne. Every session he has cologne on, I'm really hoping it's not his, but his brothers. Ok, moving on, He comes at 1:00 which is right after the kids have lunch and literally a few minutes after I put Rebecca down for her nap. (Not the cleanest time of the day,) Well, today he asked me why my house is always so dirty. OUCH! I guess the truth hurts. Kind of funny in a way, but a little too honest too. Back to working on one of my New Year's Resolutions, Not to worry when people stop by unannounced, because my house is already spotless. I sincerely hope I'm not the only one that has a hard time keeping my house clean.

You are not the only one. If you clean everyday you are doing way better than me!
I feel the same way. Every night when I go to bed it is clean. After Kyan is up for about 20 minutes his toys are spread out through the whole house!
You scarily sound like me!! I'm an organizer all the way!! And a slight perfectionist when it comes to cleaning, so if I don't have time to do it thorough - rarely - it doesn't get done.... ugh. Need a partner with that resolution?! :)
It was so good to hear from you Sarah. I love your blog and it is so good to see your cute family. Your children are darling. I am so glad to see you happy and doing well. So neat to be able to keep in touch with the blogs. Right? Funny we both know Heather. Do you know Susy Raymond? She lives in vegas and is from Logan as well?
Congratulations on the new baby! I had no idea you were expecting! By the way, I feel the same way about the house. I keep saying 'if only I had a bigger house, it wouldn't get so messy'. I don't know if that's true or not. Hopefully one day I'll find out!
Courtney and Dorothy went to high school with Trent's parents. I have actually been to their house. Small world
Too funny! You are definitely not alone in this! You are just honest enough to admit it!
